The Garlic grown in the Tarn Region of South West France and as the other French varietals is amongst the best quality found anywhere in the world. This is a strong, flavoursome garlic which is distictive by its purple / violet hints in the outer skin.
These are large sized Violet garlic bulbs, typically 70mm to 90mm in size.

This Garlic is harvested at the end of June each year and then dried in either fields or large barns for 2 weeks. The Garlic can remain edible until well into the following year if kept in dry, cool or ambient temperatures.
