A useful addition to any store cupboard, the porcini mushroom brings out the best in any sauce for pasta or rice or add to a meat casserole. Try a simple and classic Risotto or Pasta with Porcini Mushrooms and a drizzle of Truffle Oil for a taste of Tuscany!
Requires minimal pre-soaking – simply boil some water and pour over the required amount of Porcini (they will increase 3 to 4 times in size) Drain after 20-3- minutes and use in cooking. The water can be used to add flavour to sauces or stock.
