An elegant example of this grape variety, Fiano is both crisp and medium bodied, characterized by lush notes of quince, orange blossom, spice and hazelnuts with an excellent underlying minerality and lively acidity but beautifully balanced.
The meaning of the name is ‘vine beloved of bees’, the Fiano vineyards benefit from mineral-rich, volcanic and calcareous soils. Fiano will happily cellar for 3 – 6 years.
