Product Description

An unpasteurised, washed rind semi-hard sheep’s milk cheese from an artisan West Country producer, specialising in goat’s and ewe’s milk cheeses.   A compressed texture with a sweet and nutty flavour, delicate and creamy tasting cheese with a lasting flavour, fast becoming a cheese board favorite

Made with animal rennet for about 8 weeks and regularly washed in Somerset Cider Brandy, this cheese has slightly stronger and more complex flavour than it’s cousin Rachel.

An attractive addition to the cheeseboard, named after a natural mound in Somerset, both words Burrow and Mump meaning ‘hill’.
