Natural waxed flower honey from Sicily – three varieties available
* Miele di Timo – Thyme (clear to creamy) – delicate, slightly herbal notes, good for sweetening herbal tea infusions
* Miele di Millefiore – Mixed Flower (clear) not overly sweet with delicate floral notes
* Miele di Castagno – Chestnut (clear to creamy) – the most robust of the honeys, full flavoured and perfect for toast, yoghurt or with cheese
Honey for the breakfast table, porridge or yoghurt, in tea infusions, in cooking or just on a spoon.
Wonderful with Sicilian Pecorino cheeses, particularly the young Truffle Pecorino or Normanno – semi aged Pecorino which has been washed in Balsamic Vinegar or with a blue cheese such as Cornish Blue or Bath Blue.
