‘The King of Grapes, the Grape of Kings’!  Barolo is appreciated for the culture, tradition and hard work that it embodies.

Barolo is made with grapes grown in soil rich in organic substances, they are not harvested until the first autumn fog (nebbia) in mid to late October. The wine is fermented in Slavonian barrels for 18 months followed by 12 months in the bottle, as required by the government for DOCG status.  The wine becomes unalterable in time, gaining an intense extraordinarily complex bouquet of rose, tobacco, truffle and spice. Deep garnet red in colour, complex and intense with deep floral lavender and sour cherry aromas.

Serve at room temperature and pair with red meat, wild game or matured and spicy cheeses.  The perfect wine to have with a truffle dish.
