A new celler owned by ‘British interests’ with an aim to produce low volume hand made wines that capture the best of Terra Alta. The 2016 wines are their first release. Hand harvested from soils rich in limestone. Matured in 3rd generation oak barrels for 6 months.
Full of black fruits on the nose with plums and a hint of violet. The palate is again dominated by black fruits with overtones combining coffee and cedar notes rounding into a warm spicy finish.
Chargrilled or barbecue foods such as sausages and gourmet burgers. Pasta dishes with rich tomato or spicy sauces, hearty stews or casseroles of beef or lamb.
