Thinly sliced, smoked duck makes a perfect starter served on a bed of dressed salad leaves with anything fruity – figs, pomegranate seeds or fresh orange. Try it with combinations such as strawberries tossed in balsamic vinegar or pears with walnuts. A dressing made with raspberry balsamic vinegar pairs well.
